Branded ChargePoint® stations for retail and hospitality

For a retailer or hospitality property, a charging bay is a visible amenity — often the first thing a driver sees when they pull in for a 20-to-40-minute stop. ChargePoint's commercial stations support branding at the station itself, and several national retailers, including 7-Eleven and Target, have used that option to make their charging bays read as part of their own storefront rather than as generic infrastructure. EnFin helps retail and hospitality owners decide whether station branding is worth the added coordination for their site.

Why brand a charging station

A branded station tells a driver they have arrived at a specific business, not just at an anonymous charging spot. For convenience stores, quick-service retail and hospitality properties, that recognition can turn a routine charging stop into a repeat visit, since drivers often plan errands or meals around dwell time at a fast charger.

How ChargePoint® station branding works

ChargePoint supports faceplate and wrap customization on its commercial hardware so a station can carry a retailer's colors and logo alongside the standard ChargePoint interface drivers already recognize. National retailers including 7-Eleven and Target have taken this approach at select locations to fold charging into their existing storefront identity. Branding is layered onto standard commercial hardware — it does not change how the station charges or how ChargePoint's network manages it.

What EnFin specifies for a branded rollout

We start from the same CP6000 or Express Plus hardware used on any commercial site, then coordinate faceplate or wrap branding through ChargePoint's certified network alongside the equipment order. Cloud management, driver billing and usage reporting work the same as on an unbranded station, so a retailer gains a branded presence without adding a separate system to operate.

Common questions

Does branding change how the station works?

No. Branding is a faceplate or wrap applied to standard ChargePoint hardware; charging speed, cloud management and billing work the same as an unbranded station.

Who applies the branding?

Branding is coordinated through ChargePoint's certified network alongside your equipment order and installation.

Is branding worth it for every site?

It tends to matter most for retail and hospitality properties where charging drivers are also potential customers. We can help you weigh the added coordination against your site's traffic pattern.
