EV Charging

ChargePoint® charging for auto dealerships

Dealerships are one of the most common places drivers first experience EV charging, and that first impression matters. A customer test-driving an EV, a service department running loaner cars, or a showroom promoting electric inventory all depend on charging that works reliably and looks like it belongs on the lot. EnFin is a Certified ChargePoint® Partner, and many manufacturer dealership networks — including several luxury brands — already coordinate with ChargePoint on charging equipment for their franchise locations. We specify and supply the commercial-grade stations dealerships need, whether a store is following a manufacturer program or building its own charging plan independently.

Why dealerships add EV charging

Charging on-site does three jobs at once: it lets sales staff demonstrate EV inventory with a full charge, it keeps service loaners and courtesy vehicles ready between appointments, and it signals to visiting customers that the dealership takes electric vehicles seriously. A store without working charging risks a flat loaner or an awkward test drive, both of which reflect on the brand rather than on the technology.

ChargePoint® at franchise dealerships

Automakers including GM and Mercedes-Benz work with ChargePoint on charging programs; EnFin supplies ChargePoint and Generac stations to dealerships of any brand. Generac Level 2 charging is available as well for stores that want to standardize charging alongside other Generac equipment on-site.

What EnFin specifies for a dealership

Showroom and customer parking typically call for CP6000 Level 2 stations, sized to the lot and branded through ChargePoint's cloud platform for simple access control. Service departments handling loaner turnaround often add a DC fast charging port so a vehicle can return to full charge between appointments rather than sitting overnight. We review lot layout, loaner fleet size and service volume with you before recommending a station count and mix. Larger dealer groups running a shared loaner or delivery fleet can see our Megawatt and Depot Charging page for depot-scale options.

Common questions

Do we need to be part of a manufacturer charging program to buy through EnFin?

No. We supply commercial ChargePoint and Generac stations to any dealership, whether or not a manufacturer program is involved.

How many stations do we need for a loaner fleet?

It depends on fleet size, typical dwell time between appointments and whether loaners return overnight or same-day. We review your service schedule with you before recommending a count.

Who installs the stations?

Installation, engineering and commissioning are performed by manufacturer-certified installers, the client's own team, or a qualified third party, under a separate contract with the buyer. EnFin and Continuity Power Group supply and coordinate; we do not install.
