Resilient EV Charging

Generac® charging paired with standby power and storage, so charging never stops

EnFin is a Registered Generac® Dealer, and for sites where an outage cannot mean a dead charger, we specify Generac EV charging equipment alongside Generac standby generators and battery storage from the same manufacturer relationship. Car dealerships that must keep demo and customer vehicles charged, fleet depots running overnight charging windows, emergency services sites that cannot afford downtime, and private estates all share the same requirement: charging that keeps working when the grid does not. Pairing charging, generation and storage under one manufacturer simplifies integration, monitoring and service, and gives owners a single relationship to manage instead of separate systems that were never designed to talk to each other.

Generac® commercial EV charger paired with standby power for resilient charging

Why resilience matters for these sites

A dealership with dead chargers cannot demonstrate or deliver EVs to customers. A fleet depot that loses power overnight risks vehicles that are not ready for morning routes. Emergency services sites depend on every system, including charging, staying live through the outages that matter most. Estate owners who have invested in EVs and standby power expect the two to work together, not fail independently. In each case, the cost of a charger going dark during an outage is not just inconvenience — it is lost revenue, missed dispatch windows, or a resilience investment that quietly has a gap in it.

Generac® charging, generation and storage together

Generac's EV lineup includes Level 2 Plus 40A and 48A chargers for everyday charging, the Level 2 Pro for higher-duty commercial and fleet use, and a Level 3 Fast Charger for sites that need a quick turnaround. Power Boost and Power Share load management let a site run more chargers on existing electrical capacity by balancing demand across them rather than requiring a full service upgrade. The differentiator is integration: paired with Generac standby generators and SBE Block battery storage, charging continues automatically through a grid outage, coordinated by the same monitoring and control layer that manages the rest of the site's power. Installation, engineering and commissioning are performed by manufacturer-certified installers, the client's own team, or a qualified third party, under a separate contract with the buyer. EnFin and Continuity Power Group supply and coordinate; we do not install.

What EnFin specifies for a resilient site

We start with how the site actually uses power — dealership floor and lot charging patterns, fleet overnight charging windows, emergency-services load priorities, or an estate's normal versus outage-mode needs — and size chargers, generator capacity and storage together rather than as separate purchases. We help sequence what to install now versus what to plan for as EV counts grow, and we flag where Power Boost or Power Share removes the need for a costly electrical service upgrade. Because everything comes from one manufacturer program, service, warranty and monitoring stay under one relationship, and there's a single point of contact when something needs attention. Common questions

Will charging really keep working during a power outage?

Yes, when the charger, standby generator and storage are specified and integrated together as a Generac system. The generator and storage pick up the site's load automatically, and charging continues as part of that covered load rather than being an afterthought.

Is this only for large fleets, or does it fit a single estate too?

Both. The same Generac lineup scales from a single Level 2 Plus charger paired with a home standby generator, up to multiple Level 2 Pro or Level 3 stations paired with commercial generators and SBE Block storage for a dealership or fleet depot.

We already have Generac standby power. Can we add resilient charging later?

In most cases, yes. We review your existing standby and storage capacity against the charging load you want to add, and specify chargers and any additional generation or storage needed so the whole system stays properly sized.
